Kevin's Impressions:

Clean, nicely lit, and has some of the hottest bartenders we have run across. A little light on the entertainment side but a great tap selection and $2.25 Leinenkugel pints definitely make up for it.

Missing teeth, mullets and a 250 pound behemoth flashing her tits. Get all this and more when you visit this Dirty Stallis gem. Greg's Place has attracted a motley crew of the most obnoxious regulars that we have come across. It is small, a little smoky and extremely well lit which tends to highlight its cleanliness issues. It feels a lot more crowded than it should because of all of the space wasted by having six gambling machines in the back corner. Stacked behind the bar is an odd assortment of items that you can purchase raffle tickets for. Utz Pub Mix, a frying pan set, and a toaster oven are among the wonderful items that you can try to win. Other amenities include 3 televisions (two small tubes, and one smallish dangerously mounted LCD) a dart board with a terrible shooting lane and an arcade bowling machine.

Our bartender was wearing a sleeveless denim vest and rocking the sweetest silver mullet I have ever seen. He was was pleasant and quick to serve us. Tap selection is pretty standard and is reasonably priced at $6 a pitcher, $3 mini, and $2 pint. If you get hungry you could order pizza, chips, candy bars or choose from the largest selection of chewing gum of any West Allis bar.

Scooter's makes the most of it's very limited space by providing a decent area for both it's dart board and pool table. Friendly service and fair prices makes this a worthwhile stop.

Cheap! Cheap! Cheap! Night Court is a nice big bar with fantastic prices and specials. $5 domestic pitchers, $1.50 bottles of Pabst, and a shelf full of $1 beer they are trying to get rid of. They also have free pool on Monday & 50¢ Alabama Slammer shots on Thursday.

Kevin's Impressions:

Fantastic amenities, tasty appetizers, a good selection of beer and a great all around atmosphere really make this bar really shine. In fact, McGuires Tavern has so much upside that its a shame that it only earned a 3.5 beer rating. Inconsistent service and high prices brought the score down from what I feel should have been a 4 or possibly 4.5 beer bar. While I don't mind paying $4 for a pint of Guinness or Smithwicks, paying $7.50 for a pitcher of MGD is a tad high for West Allis bar. Prices aside this bar is a must visit due to its food and amenities. High points include three huge LCD televisions behind the bar, a dedicated dart lane and an 80's cocktail arcade machine that has 24 games including my personal favorite Burgertime.

Bivin's Impressions:

A very nice setting for a quiet beer any night of the week. Danny McGuire has always provided ample entertainment with an ever-rotating selection of arcade games and pinball machines. Sports fans will be pleased to know that just about any game can be viewed on the best TV's in the area. Good selection and great atmosphere earns McGuire's tavern one of the best overall ratings on the Stallis Pub Crawl.

Is the bar a dark & dingy shit box or a classy joint?

Cleanliness, Temperature, Smell, Volume and Decoration are all deciding factors in this category.

3) Service
How good is your bartender?

Promptness, Politeness, Freebies, Friendliness and Drink mixing ability all play a part.

4) Clientèle

Type and Variety of people in attendance.
Hot Women and friendly people are definite positives, while douchbags, old drunks and loud obnoxious guys looking for a fight are going to drag the score lower.

5) Entertainment

Besides getting blitzed - what else can I do at the bar?

Televisions, A good jukebox, Games (pool table, dart boards, Maga Touch) and Unique things you don't normally see at a corner bar are key in maxing out this category.

6) Selection

What kinds of beer are on tap?

This also includes food and types of drinks available.

One Beer

One of the worst fucking bars in the city. How it stays in business is beyond us.

Two Beers

This place epitomizes the shitty West Allis dive bar. End of the night last resort, half hour MAX.

Three Beers

A solid bar, but is lacking a few things to make it regular stop.

Four Beers

Impressive, most impressive. A fantastic bar to add to your rotation.

Five Beers

Christ on a bike! This is the greatest fucking bar on the planet, a must visit!
